Traveling? Be Sure to Pack a Travel Foot Care Kit

Are you hitting the road – or the airport – for a summer vacation with family or friends?

If you are, you won’t be alone. AAA predicted that 38 million Americans traveled on Memorial Day weekend, the most since 2005. The trend will continue for the summer thanks in part to the lowest fuel prices in 11 years.

Careful preparation for travel is key and make up your packing list early. Try creating a list on your computer – Excel works great – so you won’t have to come up with a new list for each trip. Include standard items that you usually take and then leave room for destination-specific items like your passport, snorkeling equipment or Italian pocket dictionary.

And don’t forget to tuck a small foot care kit into your luggage! You’ll be counting on your feet to carry you miles as you explore your destination while walking, hiking, climbing and biking. Your travel kit won’t take up much room and can really help soothe tired feet and repair blisters and other minor foot problems.
